Blood Money

At the end of last season, it appeared that either Daniels or Gabriel would be promoted to another job that I can't remember the title of. The chat session online suggested that it would be Daniels that would go. The actress was seen in less and less of the shows. I had heard she was in another series. I did like her character and having another female was good.

I didn't like the robo-cop that was in the second episode of this season, but I liked her better than Captain Hatcher (played by Mary McDonnell) in this weeks episode (Red Tape). I suppose some people might have liked the banter between Captain Hatcher and Brenda Lee. But, I have to put up with that kind of attitude at work.

I don't know what to think about Provenza. In the first or second show he was angry when the subject of relationships came up. I took this to mean he just had a bad breakup. Now, he seems to have made up with whoever the lady in his life is. Could this woman be the next Mrs. Provenza?

This season has already taken us down a different path. The characters seem to be different, like the show has different writers. It's too early to tell how things will go. But, I'll keep watching. I still find it entertaining.
