Episode Synopsis

Brenda and her squad investigate the death of a plus-size man, whose body has so badly deteriorated that it's nearly impossible to determine how he died.

Young woman at Reyes' house refuses to identify herself. Brenda cannot connect Reyes to the stolen diamonds and has no other evidence he intended Adams to die.

Fritz supplied important information about a previous, unsolved case involving Reyes. Brenda was able to show a pattern and thus, intent to commit a crime.

As Flynn is on the phone with Brenda, the car rolls off the tow truck and down the hill with the rest of the squad in pursuit on foot.

Tao delivers the fingerprint report to Brenda, smiling into the camera because he knows the real identity of Reyes' girlfriend.

Tao, Brenda, and Provenza snicker and smile broadly when Sanchez asks to have one more day at his desk rather than face Reyes again after kissing him.

I am thinking, by looking at this promotional photo of Brenda trying on the gown that this was her mother's wedding gown. Based upon the style, not to mention the setting (looks like someone's living room), this is probably why her parents are returning. First to pressure them about setting a date and second, to give Brenda her wedding gown to wear. One only hopes we are about to have an upcoming wedding in the next 5 episodes!!!
